A Look at the City of San Augustine Water System - Article from the 03/35/21 San Augustine Tribune

The City's Water Tower on State Highway 96

The City Manager submitted this article for informational purposes, and it was subsequently printed in the March 25 edition of the Tribune.

Photos attached.

One difference from the article as printed in the Tribune is that the photo with the water plant got cropped, so the crane is not visible. It was hoisting new pumps through a hole we made in the roof for the upgrade. It sort of looked like we just had a random hole in the roof. The pump upgrade was for a pair of transfer pumps, and we are very glad we went ahead since without the change the plant's output would have been drastically curtailed. That would have made the ice storm even worse.
