Senior Citizens Building

The Building is Currently NOT AVAILABLE to rent. The facilities are undergoing work.

The City of San Augustine Senior Citizen Building is available to members of the community for private rental.  The building is an open concept perfect for any kind of meeting, social event, or group celebration, and has a central room divider to divide the space for smaller gatherings.  A kitchen with convenient side door allows for outdoor grilling.  With two restrooms, this large open space allows for flexibility and creativity for your event.

The Senior Citizen Building is located at 405 South Bolivar. 

To rent the building, a $500.00 fee must be paid to the City of San Augustine in advance. This fee includes the $200.00 Rental Fee and a $300.00 Deposit.  Upon satisfactory inspection of the facility after the completion of the rental, the deposit will  returned by mail to the address provided by the renter approximately two weeks after the event, assuming that all rules and regulations are followed and, again, that there is no damage to the facility or missing contents.

The renter must be a citizen or business owner residing or doing business within San Augustine County, of legal age and capacity to contract. A copy of the rules and regulations may be viewed at City Hall and a copy will be given to the renter upon receiving the rental fees.
